
20 Indigent women in Opebi and its environs have just been granted micro credit loan by Rotary Club of Opebi.

A sum of N1million micro credit business loan was granted to 20 indigent women at N50, 000 each. Presenting the cheques to the women during his official visit to the club on Tuesday, December 10, 2024 was the pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi.
10 beneficiaries of the no-interest loan which was started by the club four years ago are from Oba Ogunji Community Corps while the other 10 are from Opebi Community Corps, both Community Corps having been established by the club.



Coordinators of the two corps, Mr Fatai Badamosi from Oba Ogunji Communities Corps and Mrs Famade Idowu from Opebi Community Corps both appreciated the club on behalf of the beneficiaries.
Present with the District Governor is the District Executive Secretary, AG Valentine Shomoye, the District Treasurer, PP Adetayo Hassan, Chief of Staff to the DG, AG Sylvia Abdalla, Special Assistant to the DG, AG Kunle Adeniran and Personal Assistant to the DG, PAG Abiola Adesina.
Also present is the Assistant Governor to the club, Rtn Arinze Okamelu and some other Irresistible Presidents that were present to support one of their own.
