free eye cataract outreach by Rotary International District 9111 was flagged-off on Tuesday, January 14, 2025 by pioneer District Governor, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi, alongside the Chairman, Planning Committee, Rtn (Dr) Jerry Aigheyisi.
The outreach which is targeted at 1000 beneficiaries is divided into two stages- screening and surgery and is holding in three different locations which are Ikeja in Lagos, Ota in Ogun state and Abeokuta in Ogun state.
While Lagos state outreach was flagged-off on Tuesday, January 7, Ota outreach was flagged-off on Thursday, January 9.
The exercise was also supported by members of the committee, club presidents, as well as Rotarians in Abeokuta.
The next screening exercises will hold on Tuesday, January 28; Thursday, January 30; Tuesday, February 18; and Thursday, February 20.
