Rotary International President’s Representative, Past District Governor Francisco Ssemwanga and spouse, Mrs. Angella Ssemwanga arrived Lagos, Nigeria on Wednesday, May 6, ahead of DisCon 2026 in Abeokuta scheduled to hold between Thursday, May 7 and Sunday, May 10.

The guests were received at the airport by their aide, Immediate Past District Governor, Dr. Oluwole Kukoyi and spouse, Rtn Rev. Mrs. Olusola Kukoyi, before proceeding to the Rotary Centre in Ikeja, Lagos, where they were warmly welcomed by the District Governor, Prince Henry Akinyele and members of his core team.

During their visit to the Rotary Centre, the RI President’s Representative and his spouse were taken on a tour of the facility and also briefly joined the ongoing Rotary District 9112 District Education and Welfare Endowment Fund (DEWEF) presentation programme. In a show of support for the initiative, PDG Francisco Ssemwanga made a generous contribution to the fund.
