The 45th Leadership Team of the Students’ Union Government (SUG) of Yaba College of Technology, Lagos, led by its President, Comrade Omogunle Monday, paid a courtesy visit to the District Governor at the Rotary Centre, Ikeja, Lagos, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025.
They were warmly received by the District Governor and members of his core team, including the District Executive Secretary, Rtn Michael Effiong, and the Chief of Staff to the DG, PAG Busola Satuyi.
During the visit, the SUG leadership formally invited the District Governor to the forthcoming Alhaji Alaba Olalekan Speak Up Lagos Inter-Institutional Debate Championship, a prestigious debate competition among higher institutions in Lagos held in honour of Alhaji Alaba Olalekan, the Dean of Students’ Affairs, respected Rotarian, and district leader.
The competition is scheduled to commence on December 16, continue on December 19, and culminate in a grand finale on January 15.
