Rotary Club of Ikeja South as part of its community empowerment programme for the 2025-26 Rotary year, has empowered five indigent people in Ikeja and its environs.
The five beneficiaries were empowered with a grant of N50, 000 each during the official visit of the District Governor, Prince Henry Akinyele to the club on Thursday, July 17, 2025.
The DG who was accompanied by the District Executive Secretary, Michael Effiong, also a member of the club and Special Assistant to the DG, Tunde Olawuyi commended the club currently led by the United President, Damian Izuka while urging the beneficiaries to ensure that the monies serve the purpose they were given which is to support their petty trades.
