The District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Dr Oluwole Kukoyi held a welcome reception for Rotary International President representative, Past District Governor Eric Kimani and his wife, Margaret who will be representing the Rotary International President, Stephanie Urchick at the pioneer District 9111 Conference 2025 holding in Abeokuta, Ogun state between May 29 and June 1, 2025.
The couple who arrived Nigeria on Wednesday, May 28 were hosted to a warm reception by the District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Dr Oluwole Kukoyi.
Also present was the District Governor Elect, Prince Henry Akinyele, District Governor Nominee Designate, Samuel Ayetutu and distinguished Past District Governors which includes the Aid to the RI Representative, PDG Patrick Ikheloa and his wife, Past Inner Wheel National Representative, IWM Zainab, the DG’s spouse, Rev Mrs Olusola Kukoyi and members of the District Governor’s core team.
Joining the team at the Rotary Centre are Rotarians from District 7080, Canada led by the District Governor Nominee Uche Okugo who was formally a member of the DG’s club- Rotary Club of Ota as well as District 9111 Friendship Exchange Committee Chairman, PAG Benedict Okhumale.
Also present is District Governor Elect Olatunji Olaleye of District 1145, United Kingdom also a former member of Rotary Club of Ota who also came all the way to Nigeria to participate in the District Conference.
