The official visit of the District Governor, Prince Henry Akinyele to Rotary Club of Egbeda led by United President Oluwatosin Adejimi on Saturday, October 4, 2025, started with a visit to the palace of HRM, Oba Dr. Ibrahim Olasunkanmi Bello, Oba of Isheri Olofin Kingdom, Alimosho who was right there and then inducted by the District Governor as a Rotarian of the club.
Next was a visit to R. Odubanjo Steel Works LTD, an iron smith company owned by a member of the club, Rtn Odubanjo where the DG discussed possible partnership with the company on boys' empowerment.
The club thereafter led the DG to their Vocational Centre which serves as their meeting venue where Nigeria and Rotary flags were hosted by the DG.
He also unveiled the signage at the entrance of the Centre, commissioned the newly renovated water borehole facility in the Centre and also participated in a tree planting exercise with members of the club.
The club also donated grinding machines to some indigent women in the community as part of its annual economic empowerment activities.
