Rotary Club of Ikeja on Monday, July 7, 2025 empowered NAFOWA, market women and men in Isolo Obada market, Lagos.

The empowerment program is an annual project of the club and this year under the leadership of United President Olanrewaju Lawal, a total sum of N2million was granted as a no-interest loan to the traders.
 
The club also as part of its annual empowerment program for The Nigerian Air Force Officers’ Wives Association (NAFOWA) donated startup equipment to the association. Equipment donated include sewing machine, hair dryer, refrigerator, among others.

The District Governor, Prince Henry Akinyele’s who formally handed the items to the beneficiaries appreciated the club for reaching out to the association and uplifting the traders especially at this time of economic challenge in the country.
 
The market woman leader, Alhaja Wasilatu Yusuf Saka, Iya Oloja, Obada Isolo Market appreciated the club on behalf of the traders.
