Rotary Club of Agbara has just commissioned its Rotary Centre- Rotary Club of Agbara Secretariat
The Centre which is located in Hobbies plaza along Unilever Road, Ago Eto Bus Stop, Agbara, Ogun state was commissioned by the pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi alongside the club president and other members of the club during the District Governor’s official visit to the club on Wednesday, November 20, 2024.
The DG while commissioning the new Rotary Centre, congratulated members of the club led by Irresistible President Juliet Momoh.
He commended the club for taking the bold step which only few clubs in the district have been able to take.
The District Governor and his team- District Executive Secretary, AG Valentine Shomoye, Special Assistant to the DG, AG Kunle Adeniran, Personal Assistant to the DG, PAG Abiola Adeshina, as well as the District Governor’s spouse, Rev Mrs Olusola Kukoyi were taken on a tour around the Rotary office facility.
A special prayer was made for the Irresistible President and the club generally by the DG’s spouse.
The District Governor and his team had earlier in the day joined members of the club on a courtesy visit to the The Alagbara of Agbara kingdom, Oba (Barr) Kayeola Abimbola Agunbiade. LL.m, B.L. MBA, FCA.
DG Kukoyi while giving his remarks at the palace, commended the club for building and maintaining a strong relationship with the community, the king and leaders of the community through impactful service projects.
The king while narrating the transformational projects the club has carried out in the community over the years, appreciated the club members and showered prayers on them.
