The Rotary Club of Apakun has once again demonstrated its commitment to maternal care and community development with a heartfelt outreach to Ajao Primary Health Care Centre.

On Saturday, January 30, 2026, the club under the leadership of its United President, Rtn. Solomon Daramola, visited the health facility and donated two brand-new baby cots to two expectant mothers, offering comfort, support, and hope as they prepare to welcome their newborns.
The items were formally presented on behalf of the club by the District Governor, Rtn. (Prince) Henry Akinyele, who was on an official visit to the club. As part of the visit, the District Governor also joined members of the club in a tree-planting exercise, aimed at beautifying the health centre and promoting environmental sustainability.

In recognition of dedication and selfless service, the club presented awards of appreciation to Dr. Fapetu Abiodun, Assistant Medical Officer, Isolo LCDA, and Nurse Adeyemo Adedamola, Officer-in-Charge of the facility. Both award recipients expressed heartfelt gratitude to the club while requesting additional support in the area of proper signage for the centre.

Responding promptly, the Club President assured them that the Rotary Club of Apakun will return to install an electrical signage, further strengthening the facility and improving its visibility to the community.
