The official visit of the District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Prince Henry Akinyele to Rotary Club of Ipaja New Dawn started with the unveiling of an End Polio Now and Four Way Test signages around Gate axis of Iyana Ipaja, Lagos where the club members warmly received the District Governor upon his arrival.
The Club President, United President Adeboye Olusesan while speakingon the signages taht were unveiled, revealed that the End Polio Now signange marks the commemoration of 2025 World Polio Day while the Four Way Test signage serves a public image tool to further create awareness on the existence of Rotary and its activites in the community.
The DG, while unveiling the signages, commended the club for such a thoughtful projects, stating that Rotary's fight against polio is a very significant part of Rotary so we must not relent until polio is completely eradicated from the earth.
He added that public image is a very vittal part of Rotary's activities because without an effective public image strategy, Rotary numerous activities will never be noticed, neither will new members be attracted.
