The official visit of the District Governor, Rtn. (Dr) Wole Kukoyi to Rotary Club of Okota started with donation to Pregnant Women in Isolo Primary Health Centre, Lagos.
Free delivery kits were distributed to the beneficiaries while one of them was given one brand new baby cot with another baby cot donated to the hospital.
The District Governor congratulated the women for the privilege of being among the beneficiaries of the donation project by the club currently led by Irresistible President Nofiu Okunade. He wished them a safe delivery while advising them on the need for healthy lifestyle both for the mothers and babies especially at this period of cholera outbreak in the country.
The Officer in Charge of the Centre, Nurse Idowu Latifa expressed her appreciation to the club for contributing towards the safe delivery of the pregnant women at this time. Three of the beneficiaries also expressed their appreciation to the club on behalf of the others.
The District Governor was accompanied by the District Executive Secretary, AG Valentine Shomoye and the Special Assistant to the DG, AG Kunle Adeniran. Other members of the club also participated in the donation exercise alongside the club president.
