Rotary Club of Rock City, District 9111 under the leadership of Irresistible President Henry Adedokun has just carried out free health screening for the general public.
The screening exercise which was part of Rotary Family Health Days programme by Rotarians for Family Health and AIDS Prevention Incorporated held on Friday, October 25th, 2024.
The screening covered malaria screening and treatment, HIV test and counseling, Breast cancer screening, cervical cancer screening, prostate cancer screening, family planning counseling, eye test, dental care, distribution of free sanitary pads for girls, distribution of insecticide treated mosquito nets, among many others.
Witnessing the exercise was the District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi where he stressed the importance of regular medical checkup and prompt treatment that ensures healthy living in our communities. Along with the District Governor was the District Polio Plus Committee Chairman, Rtn Jide Ogunjimi, Special Assistant to the DG Kunle Adeniran, and Personal Assistant to the DG Abiola Adeshina, as well as other Rotarians in Abeokuta.
