No fewer than six young men and women in Agege community have been empowered by Rotary Club of Agege under the current leadership of United President, Rtn Olufemi Ogungbemi.
The beneficiaries who have acquired different vocational skills were formally presented with hairdressing tools, barbing tools, catering tools, among other items on behalf of the club by the District Governor, Rtn. Prince Henry Akinyele who was on his official visit to the club on Tuesday, September 9, 2025.
One new member was formally inducted into the club by the DG who was well received by the three Past District Governors in the club- PDG Somo Omoniyi, PDG Kennedy Ejakpomewhe, and PDG Dr Dele Balogun.
The DG was accompained on the visit by members of his core team. Also, present was the District Governor Elect, Rtn. Bukola Bakare and her spouse, Rtn. Lateef, as well as the District Governor Nominee, Rtn. Samuell Ayetutu.
The spouse of the president was also present with other members of the club, and members of the Rotaract Club of Agege.
