The pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Dr Oluwole Kukoyi has formally presented charter certificate to the Charter President of the newly formed Rotary Club of Amuwo Prestige, Rtn Betty Elegba.
This was carried out in an elaborate charter presentation ceremony held in Festac, Lagos state on Wednesday, April 16, 2925. All the charter members were formally inducted into the club while the board members were also decorated. Special appreciation award were presented to the pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Dr Oluwole Kukoyi who was accompanied by his spouse, Rev Mrs Olusola Kukoyi.
Appreciation award was also presented to Assistant Governor Umoh Usoro for his contribution towards the successful chattering of the club. Rtn Attai Udia, the Irresistible President of the sponsoring club- Rotary Club of Festac Central was also presented an award for his unwavering support both financially and otherwise towards the success of the club.
Past Assistant Governor Alan Emezue who happens to be the Doyen of the new club was also appreciated by the president and other members of the club. The DG was also accompanied by his Chief of Staff, AG Sylvia Abdalla, his Special Assistant, AG Kunle Adeniran, and his Personal Assistant, PAG Abiola Adesina.
The incoming Assistant Governor to the club, Rtn Yinka Adeogun was also present. Other Irresistible presidents of Rotary Clubs of Greenfield, Maryland, Festac Town, Canal Estate, Festac Cosmopolitan, and Festac Metropolitan were also present were also present to support one of their own.
