The District Governor of Rotary International District 9111, Prince Henry Akinyele, paid his official visit to the Rotary Club of Canal Estate on Sunday, November 16, 2025, a day filled with service, impact, and inspiration.
Under the leadership of the United President, Rtn Chike Ikenga, the club maximized the Governor’s visit by hosting its annual Economic Empowerment Programme, where three indigent women from the community received brand-new grinding machines to support their livelihood and kick-start their small businesses.
The beneficiaries expressed heartfelt gratitude to the club for this life-changing support, especially at a time when many families are navigating economic hardships.
The fellowship grew even stronger as one new Rotarian was officially inducted by the District Governor, adding more hands and hearts to the work of service.
