Rotary International, District 9111 under the leadership of pioneer District Governor, Dr. Wole Kukoyi will be hosting a public speaking contest among schools in Lagos and Ogun states.
This is a first of its kind initiative in the history of Rotary in Lagos and Ogun states. The contest will be hosted in collaboration with Rotary Districts 1145, United Kingdom and 7080, Canada in the course of this Rotary year and winners will be rewarded with prizes.
Presenting the trophy to the District Governor, Rotary International, District 9111, Dr. Wole Kukoyi and his spouse, Rev. Mrs Olusola on Monday, July 1, 2024 was District Governor Elect, Olatunji Olaleye from District 1145 who came all the way from the United Kingdom to be part of this ceremony.
Past District Governor Bola Oyebade of Rotary International District 9110 and founder of the Rotarians Fellowship of Public Speakers in the former District 9110 was also present alongside Past District Governor Omotunde Lawson of Rotary International District 9110.
Also present to witness the exercise were members of DG Kukoyi’s core team and some other district leaders.
