The pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi has flagged-off the free eye cataract outreach organized by the Rotary district in collaboration with Eye Foundation Centre for in Ota, Ogun state.
The flag-off ceremony was held in partnership with Values of Affordable Education (VOA) Charity at the Eye Foundation Centre, Ota on Thursday, January 9, 2025. The outreach which is divided into two stages- screening and surgery is holding in three different locations which are Ikeja in Lagos, Ota in Ogun state and Abeokuta in Ogun state.
The Chairman, Planning Committee, Rtn (Dr) Jerry Aigheyisi while speaking to members of the press at the sideline revealed that the next screening exercises in Ota will hold on Tuesday, January 14, Thursday; January 16; Tuesday, February 4; Thursday, February 6; Tuesday, February 11, Thursday, February 13; Tuesday, February 25; Thursday, February 27.
Also present at the flag-off ceremony was Dr Emmanuel Ogundare, the Programme Manager, Eye Foundation Hospital, Ota and Dr Tola Egbeyode, Advisor, Values of Affordable Education (VOA) Charity.
