The pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi had his official visit to Rotary Club of Egbeda led by Irresistible President Yetunde Mosaku on Saturday, September 7, 2024.
During the visit, one new Rotarian was inducted into the club by the DG. The club also gave out one brand new sewing machine, one brand new grinding machine, two new gas cylinder cookers and one new welding machine to five beneficiaries as part of its annual empowerment program.
The renovated water facility originally built by the club for the community was also commissioned by the DG.
The DG further raised the Nigerian Flag within the premises of the meeting venue- Rotary Club of Egbeda Vocational Centre on behalf of the club.
Present with the DG was the District Executive Secretary, AG Valentine Shomoye, the District Treasurer, PP Adetayo Hassan, the Special Assistant to the DG, AG Kunle Adeniran who is also a member of the club, as well as the Assistant Governor to the club, Rtn Bisi Kayode.
