The District Governor-elect, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn Prince Henry Akinyele has just inaugurated the Presidents-elect Learning Seminar (PELS) Committee led by the Coordinator, PP Jimmy Ajibola and District Learning Assembly (DLA) Committee led by the Coordinator, PP Funke Salau.
The committees were inaugurated earlier today following the inauguration of the District Learning Committee on Wednesday, August 21, 2024.
The inauguration was presided over by the pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Oluwole Kukoyi.
Present at the inauguration were the District Learning Facilitator, PDG Omotunde Lawson, FCAI, District Governor Nominee, Rtn Bukola Bakare, Incoming District Executive Secretary, PP Michael Effiong, the Incoming District Treasurer, PP Kunle Adeniyi, the Incoming Chief of Staff, PAG Busola Satuyi, the Special Assistant to the DGE, PP Tunde Olawuyi (Abinibi) as well as the Monthly Virtual Learning Coordinator, PAG Ezinne Obioha.
Also present were members of the District Governor’s core team which include the District Executive Secretary, AG Valentine Shomoye, the District Treasurer, PP Adetayo Hassan, and the Personal Assistant to the DG, PAG Abiola Adesina.
The DGE while addressing members of the newly inaugurated committees, urged them to put in their best in ensuring the success of the seminars, noting that those are the first set of events that will be hosted by the 2025-26 Rotary year team.
