Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, GCFR has revealed that he will be joining the End Polio Walk scheduled to hold in Abeokuta, Ogun state on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
The former Head of State of the Federal Republic of Nigeria made this revelation during an advocacy visit by the pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn Dr Oluwole Kukoyi on Friday, October 25.
The visit is part of the activities lined-up by the Rotary district to commemorate this year’s World Polio Day.
Also present with the District Governor was the District Polio Plus Committee Chairman, Rtn Jide Ogunjimi, District Polio Plus Committee Vice Chairman, Rtn Modupeore Ajayi, Special Assistant to the DG, AG Kunle Adeniran, Personal Assistant to the District Governor, PAG Abiola Adeshina as well as Rotarians in Abeokuta, Ogun state.
