The Pioneer District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr) Wole Kukoyi Kukoyi was earlier today, welcomed to Rotary Club of Akowonjo with a special breakfast treat.
The club members led by Irresistible President Ben Dare earlier today led the District Governor, Rotary International District 9111, Rtn (Dr.) Wole Kukoyi to Little Saints Orphanage Home in Shasha, Lagos where food items and toiletries were donated to the home by the club.
This is not the first time the club is carrying out such donations as the club has made it a point of duty to donate to the home on an annual basis.
Mrs Famous Mayen, a member of the Board of Trustees for Little Saints Orphanages Home, Boys Branch thanked the club for always supporting the home every year and not relenting this year despite the economic challenges.
Past District Governor Bola Onabadejo, a member of the club also participated in the donation exercise.
The club members thereafter mounted the Nigeria flag at Akowonjo Roundabout after which they led the DG on a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director of Krown Hospital, Shasha, Rtn Akinlade who is also a member of the club. Dr Akinlade however took the DG and his team on a facility tour around the hospital.
